So all my hard work on that custom fringe belt for my long time client paid off - He loved it and was kind enough to share some pictures.  Isn't he a great model?

Shrooms

For most of my life I have feared mushrooms.  I don't eat them, because the thought of them makes me go ick.  Lately though, I have had this strange fascination with them.  I can now appreciate their beauty.  I guess I have Pinterest to blame.  If only I could get them off my lawn.  So please go on over to my Pinterest page and look at all the pretty shrooms, I have accumulated.

Smoothie Heaven

Ever Since I got the Magic Bullet Single Shot - I've been in smoothie heaven.  Everyday I drink something yummy.  Today I chased my lunch with a Mango, Vanilla Yogurt and ice recipe!  My favourite is Pina Colada, not exactly a smoothie but what can I say.  My mom goes the more nutritious route such as blending bitter lemon, string beans, flax seeds and cod liver oil ---- I'm not there yet.  What is your favourite smoothie recipe?

These next two are my leather steampunk cuffs with secret zippered pocket.  They are both hand dyed and tooled.

Strapped!

My newest tool is pretty sharp - literally!  It has 5 blades that can create multiple straps at once and in different widths.  I am trying out this baby to find which type of leather works best with it.

Revision#1 and still counting

 I will add a zippered pocket to the front at the bottom to echo the inside pocket.

To Market To Market

I wanted to share with you my new prototype bag.  It is something I have been meaning to do for some time now, but you know how that goes - 113 ideas in your head, not so much time to complete them.

I wanted to combine leather with waxed canvas.  The problem was that waxed canvas is so hard to find.  My solution was to wax my own canvas and it turned out great!  This bag will have many other features than seen here.  This prototype will be my new shipping/post-office bag and I am already in love and hope you will be too.

Leather Wristlet Wallet

This handy Grab N Go leather wristlet wallet is so convenient with it's detachable strap.  I have been carrying around one of my own for the whole year (yes I know we are only 2 months into it :-).  They are available in my Etsy Shop in many colours.  I want to add more colours but need your help.  What colours would you like to see?  They have 2 compartments that can hold money, credit cards or even a phone.  There is also a centre zippered compartment that is perfect for coin.

I will also be doing some custom ones where you can have your pet's or loved ones photo printed on it.  Perhaps flowers or maybe I will put a bird on it :-)
