Wingback Chair Slipcover

I loved everything about this fabric, the look, hand and how it stood up to the rigors of sewing.

   Here is the Before shot.

Earlier this year I started a new arm of my sewing business called Fabric Sewlutions.  Since I mainly sell online, I wanted something that was more local.  You can visit my new website here to check it out if you are in the Toronto/Durham area.  I will be linking to My Uncommon Slice of Surburbia and  Miss Mustard Seed's Linky Party

Thrift Store find gets a slipcover makeover

Here is a perfect example of how a slipcover can change the look of a piece. This was a thrift store find. Nice bones, wrong colour and a little worn. I made the slipcover from a low pile chenille that fits like a glove.

Stay tuned for more transformations.

Bar Stool Makover with a Slipcover
